Join the Bureau of Silly Ideas as they officially launch their North East campaign to introduce pie throwing as an official 2012 Olympic Sport. Practice your over-arm, under-arm and in-the-face throwing to show your suppport for bringing back this seriously silly sport! Loads of fun guaranteed!

Artist Jennifer Douglas will be creating an amazing fantasy world within the gallery using lots of different artist's materials. Come along and give her a hand - all ages welcome.

No booking necessary, just drop in!

Normal museum and gallery admission charges apply.

Mini Artists

Art and Craft Sessions for Toddlers!

10.00am - 11.45am

Incorporating messy play, the dli staff are running a series of sessions for toddlers aged 1-4 years old.

We provide a fun and safe environment for young children to create and experience new activities - PLUS WE DO ALL THE CLEARING UP!

Each session will focus on a different theme, depending on the season or festival.

Aprons are provided and washable paints and glues are used, but old clothes are recommended.
