Round off your visit to the Museum and Art Gallery in our café where you can enjoy drinks and light meals with picturesque views over our superb grounds and pond.

Enjoy homemade cakes and scones with fairtrade coffees or try our new selection of lunches including Welsh Rarebit, Italian style ciapinis and delicious homemade soups. 

Our café is open to non-visitors too, so why not make it a regular rendezvous point when meeting friends in Durham?

We also now have FREE Wi-Fi access in our café and throughout the building.

The Cafe is open seven days a week throughout the year 11.00am-3.30pm November-March and 10.30am-4.30pm April-October.
