How We Work
Durham Police Authority exists to represent your views and to make sure that Durham Constabulary is accountable for providing the most efficient and effective police service to meet your needs.
One of our key roles is consulting the people who live and work in County Durham and Darlington to find out what they expect from their police service. The feedback we receive helps us to set the priorities and objectives for the police and informs the decisions we make about resources. We consult a large sample of people each year but aim to find new ways to make it easier for people to let us know their views, comments and concerns.
