Policing Pledge

The 'Policing Pledge' is a set of national standards which tells you the level of service you can expect to receive from police forces. To help us fulfill our role in the ongoing monitoring, scrutiny and oversight of the Policing Pledge please tell us whether the Policing Pledge is being delivered in your neighbourhood.

I am pleased to say, that our local policing team are making good on their promise, with regards to the new Policing pledge. Copies of the pledge are well advertised all over Wingate village, via posters in shops and community resources. It’s also a good idea to have a picture of our local Inspector, so we can put a face to a name. This gives a more personal touch. With clear advertising of the police website this is a good way to engage members of the community. With the introduction of the policing pledge members of the general public have a better understanding of how our local policing team work. This comes across well in the policing pledge.
