This site has been developed for all Durham County Council staff. It will act as an information area for council staff until the new corporate intranet has been developed.

What will I find here?

You will find latest news updates, and magazines and newsletters for staff across the council. 

We will also bring you information about projects associated with the County Council becoming one unitary authority for County Durham. This includes background information on the Local Government Review, as well as the latest information on what’s going on now. We also have regular Employee Update newsletters, details on the latest staff consultations and a list of frequently asked questions.

Where do I find other information?

All staff should have access to the Staff Directory. For details on things like policies and procedures, notice boards etc, please continue to use your existing intranet site, if you had access to one:
