Membership
25 Non-Executive Members of the County Council and up to 6 non-voting Co-optees are members of the Scrutiny Committee for Looking after the Environment.
Chairman’s Welcome
We are fortunate to live in a County with a wonderfully diverse landscape.
The need to protect and preserve both our natural and built heritage is something of which we should all be conscious. As we enjoy the benefits of our environment today, we should take care to ensure that, in everything we do, we maintain and enhance the environment for those who will follow. We keep these principles in mind in the work of this Committee.
